Introduction to FormVerse 3.0:

FormVerse 3.0 enhances the exploration of architectural creativity using AI, Cinema 4D, Corona Renderer, and Unreal Engine. This advanced workshop will teach how to use these powerful tools to transform AI-generated forms into complex, interactive 3D models. From initial concept generation to creating an immersive metaverse experience, FormVerse 3.0 offers a comprehensive journey into the new realm of AI and immersive digital architecture.

The scope of the workshop:

This workshop will focus on developing an architectural form concept using Midjourney, providing detailed tactics for selection and refinement, and transforming these concepts into a Cinema 4D modeling environment. FormVerse 3.0 will showcase valuable skills in selecting the most promising images, understanding different perspectives, reimagining underlying shapes, and learning the best methods to model them with clean topology. The final stages will involve rendering the model with Corona Renderer and creating an interactive experience in Unreal Engine.

Objectives:

By the end of this two-day workshop, participants will be expected to design and convert their ideas into striking images with Midjourney, select the best outcomes from variations, and turn them into 3D models using Cinema 4D. This workshop will also teach how to render high-quality imagery with Corona and create interactive experiences in Unreal Engine.

Methodology:

This course will showcase a complicated approach that bridges concept generation using Midjourney and the adoption into a Cinema 4D modeling environment. Starting with thinking and concept form generation in Midjourney, We will move into Cinema 4D, covering the basics briefly before diving into advanced modeling. This workshop will teach participants to use parametric tools like SubD, MoGraph, effectors, and fields. After refining the model, we will render it using Corona and export it to Unreal Engine 5 to create a human-scale interactive experience and explore the metaverse’s digital architecture.

Software:

Cinema 4D R21 or higher (R24 Recommended)
Chaos Corona for Cinema4D (latest versions are recommended)
Midjourney (Membership required; basic plan would suffice)

Notes:

FormVerse 3.0 is considered an advanced-level course. It is recommended that you review FormVerse 1.0 and Formverse 2.0 to better understand the tools and techniques.
It is recommended to have an RTX series graphics card for Unreal Engine 5 lumen.

Total sessions: 2 Sessions
The teaching duration per session will be 4-5 hours.
Students will have time for a break between teaching hours.
Each session and the entire studio will be recorded, and videos will be available for participants just a day after the class for unlimited time.
