Introduction to AI-Powered Interior Design in Architecture:

In today’s fast-paced design industry, interior designers are expected to move faster, communicate ideas more clearly, and deliver compelling visuals without compromising creativity or design integrity.

AI-Powered Interior Design in Architecture is an immersive, hands-on workshop designed to bridge the gap between imagination and execution, demonstrating how artificial intelligence can become a powerful creative partner rather than a replacement for design thinking.

This workshop is designed to provide custom & professional workflows for applying AI across different interior design stages.

Participants will learn how to use AI tools to accelerate the process from early concept and mood development to actual design variations, material exploration, and high-quality visualizations.

Through practical exercises, attendees will build AI-assisted design pipelines/workflows, creating consistent design directions, generating multiple render variations, refining outputs, and preparing client-ready presentation visuals while maintaining strong design logic, brand coherence, and creative control.

    Methodology:

This workshop follows a practical, repeatable workflow that helps you move from early inspiration to client-ready interior visuals fast, consistently, and with creative control.

The focus is not on using AI tools individually, but on building clear workflows you can reuse across different project types.

You’ll work through a structured set of exercises using:

    • ChatGPT to shape the design logic (concept narrative, style direction, material language, furniture intent, and a reliable prompt strategy).
    • Midjourney to explore concepts quickly, test multiple styles, and generate strong mood directions.
    • Nanobanana Pro to push outputs toward consistency and presentation quality through controlled refinements and variations.
    • Flora AI to organize the workflow in a node-based pipeline, so each step (concept → style lock → variations → enhancement) is clear, modular, and easy to repeat.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to produce a complete set of deliverables, mood boards, concept visuals, refined renders, and animated videos using custom AI workflows that balance speed with professional-level consistency.

    Key Learning Topics:

    • Turn scattered inspiration into clear, client-ready mood, furniture, and material boards.
    • Convert 2D mood boards into consistent 3D-style renders using repeatable workflows.
    • Generate fast, high-quality design variations without losing style consistency.
    • Transform 2D plans into isometric views and 3D conceptual visuals for better storytelling.
    • Create art-directed, realistic visuals driven by mood boards or specific furniture selections.
    • Turn real photos of empty sites into client-ready proposed interior designs.
    • Refine, enhance, and upscale renders to polished, presentation-ready quality.
    • Create short AI-generated animations to elevate interior presentations and marketing.

    Program:

Day 1 – From Concept to Photorealistic 3D Visuals

    • Deconstructing & exploring conceptual design ideas using ChatGPT + Midjourney (Smart Brief generation)
    • From text prompt to initial 3D visuals using AI image generators
    • Generating custom workflows for 3D visuals and videos using Flora
    • Converting raw 3D massing into realistic 3D visuals
    • Transferring style and furniture into empty, ready spaces
    • Turning 2D layouts into 3D isometric and conceptual renders
    • Generate art-directed visuals using your reference images + mood boards
    • Translate 2D blueprints and layout sketches into rough/initial 3D visuals

Day 2 – Edit, Refine, Enhance & Animate with AI

    • Editing existing visuals, 3D renders, or real photos
(adding people or specific details, changing lighting or temperature)
    • Replacing furniture and modifying design details or renovating spaces
    • Refining and retouching final outputs for professional presentation
    • Upscaling visuals using Magnific, Topaz, and Freepik
    • Creating AI videos (image-to-video, transitions, and 2-frame animation)

    Software:

    • Midjourney Standard Subscription required
    • Gemini
    • ChatGPT
    • Nano Banana
    • Flora AI

    Workshop Notes:

    • Software Installation is NOT a part of the workshop! Students must have all the software installed before starting the workshop.
