The new Ørestad Church, a contemporary landmark for Denmark’s capital, depicts a gathering spot in the forests designed by Henning Larsen. The 1,750 sqm church, designed in wood and wood shingle, represents the wide environment of Ørestad.

The location once was the refugee Camp of the World War II era and now houses a 1600 m2 museum. FLUGT museum depicts the life of refugees worldwide and acts as a connection between the past and the present.
