TONOMUS, the first company to be established as a subsidiary of NEOM, a cognitive multinational conglomerate, has announced a collaboration with Oracle and NVIDIA at LEAP23.

NEOM has released a construction progress video of its multiple sites, having moved up to the construction stage with goals defines for 2023. It depicts real-world construction footage from NEOM regions such as The Line, Trojena, Sindalah, and Oxagon.

The Line’s vast linear construction site is already taking shape across the deserts and mountains of northern Saudi Arabia, according to satellite images by SOAR Earth.

Bechtel, the second largest construction company in the United States, has appointed Project Management Consultant for TROJENA, a year-round mountain destination in northwest Saudi Arabia’s NEOM region.

Sindalah, which covers an area of approximately 840,000 square meters, is one of a group of islands that will be developed in NEOM, each with its own vision and design.

Saudi Arabia will not build The Line directly but will use “a lot of artificial intelligence to design through a digital twin backbone.”

NEOM announced a USD 175 million investment in Volocopter, a pioneer of Urban Air Mobility, for Saudi mega cities’ future air mobility.

The world’s interest in NEOM’s mega projects in the Saudi Arabia desert is still growing. Korean Minister Won will travel to Saudi Arabia for four days with 11 Korean construction companies.

Aerial photography company OT Sky released NEOM’s The Line, a mega-project, current situation drone photos. In the photos, countless excavators can be noticed drilling a wide linear channel in the desert.

“The Line” is a humancentric futuristic city concept created by NEOM in Saudi Arabia. The project is considered a revolution for urbanism.
