    Introduction to ChatGPT for Architects:

This workshop teaches how to use ChatGPT as a support tool throughout the architectural process, with a focus on productivity, organization, and consistency of deliverables.

Instead of approaching AI solely as image generation, the workshop prioritizes workflows that apply directly to professional practice and demonstrates, in real time, a replicable and customizable system that can be adapted to different typologies and project phases.

The workshop focuses on the main ChatGPT features and how to train and configure them to support recurring architectural tasks in a personalized way.

Its goal is to expand the architect’s strategic, productive, and creative capacity, ethically and without compromising authorship.

    Methodology:

The methodology combines technical explanation, live demonstrations, and short applied exercises.

    Key workflows covered include:

    • Structuring, organizing, and reviewing information
    • Creating personalized AI assistants that “know everything” about a specific project or project phase
    • Organizing and standardizing project deliverables
    • Building a collaborative, shareable project environment with AI integration
    • Learning with a proactive ChatGPT that analyzes and suggests improvements to your workflow
    • Connecting apps to extend and enhance ChatGPT

By the end of this workshop, participants will leave with a working ChatGPT setup that mirrors their professional practice: a personalized assistant, a structured project environment, reusable prompts, and clear workflows they can apply immediately to real projects.

    Key Learning Topics:

    • Use ChatGPT fluently and confidently in professional workflows
    • Choose the right models strategically for different task types
    • Build precise technical prompts with controlled context, constraints, and clear output formatting
    • Set up personalization to maintain consistent language, tone, and deliverable standards
    • Create and use Custom GPTs for recurring tasks across the design and production process
    • Organize information and documents by project using Projects
    • Set up Tasks for repetitive routines, reminders, and follow-ups
    • Integrate ChatGPT with external tools when applicable to extend workflows
    • Use Images objectively, including generation and editing, as part of the process
    • Leave with a practical starter prompt library ready for professional use

    Program:

    • Introduction & First Steps: Where ChatGPT adds value in architectural practice, what it solves, and what it doesn’t
    • Interface & Models: Navigation, files, best practices, and differences between models, and when to use each one
    • Prompt Structure: An architectural prompt framework and clear output standards
    • Personalization & Assistants: Tailoring ChatGPT to your tone of voice and configuring an exclusive assistant for a specific project type or phase
    • Projects: How to structure and customize a shareable project environment inside ChatGPT
    • Pulse & Tasks: Understanding and using ChatGPT proactively
    • Connected Apps: Workflows with Photoshop, Google Drive, and Canva
    • Images: Practical workflows for image creation, editing, and rendering

    Software:

    • ChatGPT
    • Adobe Photoshop

    Workshop Notes:

    • Software Installation is NOT a part of the workshop! Students must have all the software installed before starting the workshop.
